Posted Thursday 8 September 2005

Paul Dracakis of Dracakis Jewellers Mosman holding the Baume & Mercier watch valued at $2000.

Local businessman Paul Dracakis, owner of Dracakis Jewellers, has offered ‘Mosman Is Shopping Week’ event organisers a stunning Baume & Mercier ladies watch as the main Leukaemia Foundation of NSW Raffle prize.

The raffle tickets, with a prize pool totalling over $9,000, are being sold at participating Mosman businesses from now until 15 September.

Guests of the Mosman Is Shopping Week Fashion Parade to be held at the Cache Shopping Centre on Thursday 8 September from 6.30pm to 8.30pm will also have a chance to buy tickets for the draw.

Mr Dracakis said that he was delighted to be involved in a community based event aligned to such a worthy charity.

“We would like the Mosman residents to buy as many raffle tickets as possible to support The Leukaemia Foundation of NSW,” Mr Dracakis said.

“Dracakis Jewellers have recently moved into Mosman and it is a great opportunity for us to give something back to the community.”

The Leukaemia raffle tickets are $5 each or three for $10 and can be purchased from participating businesses.

All profits will go to The Leukaemia Foundation of NSW.
