Mosman Sporting Wall of Fame - 2nd induction

The second induction of athletes into the Mosman Sporting Wall of Fame took place last night.

The Mosman Sporting Wall of Fame honours sportsmen and women who have represented Australia at junior or senior level and have lived or are presently living in Mosman.

The Mayor of Mosman, Cr Shirley Jenkins, unveiled the new names added to the six striking glass panels. A reception followed in the Council Chambers, where Cr Andrew Brown, Deputy Mayor of Mosman, presented certificates to the inductees.

The thirty-two names added to the Wall were:

Joan Hartigan Bathurst – tennis
Sophie Cape – skiing
John (Jack) H. Carroll – rugby union
John Cheadle – squash
Gordon Clubb – rowing
Ian Clubb – rowing
David John ‘The Fox’ Colley – cricket
Eric Ford – rugby union
John Alfred ‘Jack’ Ford – rugby union
Carly Green-Ratner – duathlon
Ken Gulliver OAM – baseball
Belinda Halloran – duathlon, triathlon
Andrew Henderson OAM – mountaineering
Andrew L. Horsley – skiing
Sarah Kenny – windsurfing
René Raymond Leveaux – taekwando
Barton Lynch – surfing
Anthony Robert ‘Tony’ Miller MBE – rugby union
