Mosman is located on the northern shores of Sydney Harbour, approximately 10km by road from the city of Sydney. It has an area of 8.5 square kilometres, with a population of 26,000.

It has a rich cultural life and beautiful bushland and harbour foreshores, enhanced by its architectural heritage. Mosman’s natural beauty has inspired many artists over the years, including Arthur Streeton and Ken Done.
