Mosman Fashion houses have organised a community fashion parade as part of the Mosman Festival celebrations.

Fashion parade coordinator, Jakk Armstrong said the parade was a fun way of raising funds for a worthwhile cause.

“This year all proceeds from the Fashion Parade raffle will go to the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter Service and a few of the male crew members from the service will be featured in the parade,” Ms Armstrong said.

“We have 25 local fashion businesses showcasing their garments and for the first time we will have a spectacular Luci Dibella bridal gown from Marie Autumn Designs and Matt Bisaro Floral Craftsmen has donated a stunning bridal bouquet.

“Models will don fashionable nautical and optical eyewear and mums will see some groovy fancy dress options for kids.

“Tickets include wine, finger food and a goody bag and can be purchased on the night or from Mosman retailers Wear It Again Sam, Savoir Faire and Lilac Bush.

“Guests can purchase raffle tickets on the night to win from a prize pool worth over $10,000, kindly donated by local businesses.

“It is always a great night with approximately 250 guests, but the organising committee are expecting larger numbers this year so reserve seats before the night.”

Mosman Festival Fashion Parade will take place at the Cache Shopping Centre on Thursday 21 September 2006 from 6pm. Tickets $20. Bookings call Christine on 0410 651 263.
