Mosman shows off its finest four legged friends

Mosman’s four legged residents will gather at Mosman Village Green on Sunday 17 September for the Mosman Festival Pets Day Out competition.

Canines and felines will vie for the Best Dressed, Ugliest, Best Behaved, Biggest, Smallest or Most Waggy Tail Pet award.

Mosman Council Ranger, Cynthia Ransford said the event would be a fun and informative day for all pet owners.

“Rangers will be handing out valuable information about responsible pet ownership and there will be dog obedience and dog agility demonstrations as well as stallholders selling quality pet products,” Ms Ransford said.

“Families will enjoy the Egg & Spoon and fetch Fido races and the children always love the face painting and giveaways.

“Council would like to remind attending dog owners that they must be on a leash and other pets caged.”

Pets Day Out will take place on the Village Green from 11.30am-1.30pm. The event is a part of the Mosman Festival and is organised by Mosman Council.
